Overall, Paint.NET can be considered a tool intermediate between Photoshop and Paint that provides more tools than paint without reaching Photoshop's level while being free to use. It also offers the option to capture an image directly from cameras or scanners connected to the PC without an intermediary program's usage. We can access tools using both mouse or keyboard shortcuts to accelerate processes. A History window with all our actions is present in the top right corner of the screen. Palette tools can be found in the bottom left while Image layers are at the bottom right. The interface is clear and large with windows containing editing tools at our disposal on the left side of the screen.
